I just stumbled upon this BBC article, & I haven't been around the community lately, so maybe this is old news. Hopefully I'm not repeating anything.

The XMRV virus that supposedly offered chronic fatigue syndrome patients (& possibly Fibromites, too?) hope, turns out to possibly be just a contaminated study. :P

A correspondent from the Times Leader (our area's largest local newspaper) interviewed my mom and I yesterday concerning CFS, Fibromyalgia, and my mom's new book, "I Have CFS But I Don't Look Sick". The article is in the paper today, AND IT MADE THE FRONT PAGE!

I just thought this was worth mentioning - purely for entertainment value and because I found it quite ironic.
One of the characters on Neighbours (an Australian soap opera that's popular in the UK too I think), Susan, has been having crazy fainting spells, abnormal tiredness and other symptoms that they initially diagnosed as Menopaus (sp).
